Sabi recognizes that during this current economic downturn many local charities and non-profits are struggling to get by. Unfortunately, it is during such economic downturns that these organizations are typically needed the most. It is for this reason that we a started a new program on Monday's called "Chow Down for Charity."
Every Monday we will be donating a portion of our sales to local charities - chosen by diners. Eat at Sabi anytime on Monday, write the name of your favorite local charity on the bottom of your receipt and drop it in the comments box at the entrance. Sabi will donate 5 percent of the total to the charity or non-profit written on each receipt. In addition, we will tally the highest "vote getter" in terms of donations, and donate an additional 5 percent of the day's sales to that group.
Each month, any group that has accumulated at least $25 in contributions will be sent a check. Any group with less than $25 of contributions will remain until they have accumulated $25 or until the program ends.
